Thanks to the generosity of The National Theatre and a powerful local collaboration between Manchester City Council, Manchester Active, and The Lowry, over 135 young carers from across six Manchester schools were given the unforgettable opportunity to experience live theatre – many for the very first time.
What began as a limited ticket offer quickly expanded, with The Lowry stepping in to ensure every young person who signed up could attend. One school even extended the invitation to other vulnerable students, broadening the impact of this initiative to reach even more of Manchester’s priority groups.
The result? A night of joy, inspiration, and lasting memories.
