The Sport Strategy Officer plays a key role in the development of Manchester’s sporting ambitions and aspirations across a wide range of sports. Through the delivery of the Manchester Sport and Physical Activity Strategy the post holder will be driving relationships across a number of focus sports developing and monitoring individual sports strategies/ action plans.

The post holder will demonstrate strong partnership working with key stakeholders across the sporting landscape including representatives from National Governing Bodies of Sport, Sport England, schools, universities, performance squads, facility operators, sports clubs and volunteers.

This position is full time (35 hours per week) however requests for part time hours or job share will be considered.

The starting salary for this post is £37,280 per annum.
